Powerboat Rental Guidelines

Experience Toronto Harbour by powerboat with a fleet designed for every kind of outing. From easy-to-handle boats like our F13s and Lund Fury’s, to our newer Starcraft Pontoon and Deckboats, built for comfort and social cruising, there’s something for everyone.

Whether you're heading out for a relaxed cruise or a day on the water with friends and family, our team will ensure you’re set up for a confident and enjoyable experience.

Tier 1 | Inexperienced Boaters | Inner Harbour

Tier 1 boats are ideal for newer boaters looking to enjoy a safe and relaxed experience within Toronto Harbour.

To rent a Tier 1 vessel, you must:

Be 21+ with a valid G driver’s licence, or
Be 18+ with a valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC)

All renters will receive a comprehensive safety briefing from our knowledgeable staff prior to departure. This includes a review of harbour navigation, safe boat operation, and key regulations. You will also be required to:

Complete the Toronto Harbour Operator Waiver with staff, and receive your Harbour Map to assist with your inner harbour navigation + rules
Complete a Rental Boat Safety Checklist

We recommend arriving 20 minutes prior to your booking to allow time for the full briefing and paperwork.

Paradise F13

Power: 20 hp outboard engine
Maximum Capacity: 2 adults + 1 child
Price: $119/hr
Fuel: Extra $10/hr

Lund Fury Boat

Power: 15 hp outboard engine
Maximum Capacity: 4–5 persons
Price: $139/hr
Fuel: Extra $10/hr

Tier 2 | Experienced Boaters

Tier 2 vessels, including our Gala RIBs, are suited for boaters with some prior experience who are comfortable handling more responsive vessels in a range of conditions. These boats offer a more hands-on driving experience and are ideal for those looking to build confidence beyond the inner harbour.

Renters must demonstrate previous boating experience on similar vessels and may be required to complete a Boating Resume for approval.

Gala Rib

Power: 25 hp outboard engine
Capacity: 1-4 persons
Price: $149/hr
Fuel: Extra $10/hr

Tier 2:
Required Experience: Basic Power or equivalent experience with RIBs and similar boats.

Tier 3 | Experienced Boaters | Deckboats + Pontoons

Tier 3 vessels, including our Pontoon and Deckboats, are designed for experienced boaters looking to enjoy a more versatile and comfortable day on the water. These larger boats are ideal for social cruising, entertaining, and exploring beyond the inner harbour, including access to the Outer Harbour in suitable conditions.

Renters must have prior experience operating similar-sized vessels and will be required to complete a Boating Resume for approval.

If you do not have sufficient experience, please phone our office at (416) 203-3000 or complete our Charter Inquiry Form to arrange a certified instructor to join you on board for an additional fee of $60 per hour.

StarCraft 171 Deckboats

Power: 115 hp outboard engine
Capacity: 1-9 persons
Price: $455 /2hrs + $95/additional hour
Fuel: Extra $30/hr
Boat Features: Bluetooth Stereo, Canopy

Tier 3: Inner & Outer Harbour
Required Experience: Basic Power or equivalent experience with similar boats.

Looking to build your skills? Our Powerboat Progression Course (PPC) is a one-day, on-water course focused on boat handling, docking, and real-world operation on the Deckboats and Pontoons boats.

StarCraft 191 Deckboats

Power: 150 hp outboard engine
Capacity: 1-9 persons
Price: $465 /2hrs + $95/additional hour
Fuel: Extra $30/hr
Boat Features: Bluetooth Stereo, Canopy

Tier 3: Inner & Outer Harbour
Required Experience: Basic Power or equivalent experience with similar boats

Power: 50 hp outboard
Capacity: 1-9 persons
Price: $445/2hrs + $95/additional hour
